Born in London, England March 7, 1971 Rachel Weisz began her career with small parts in UK TV and theatre and then moved into English films including My Summer with Des, Swept from the Sea, The Land Girls, and I Want You. Weisz break into popular audience came with a leading role in The Mummy followed by string of popular films including the sequel to The Mummy, The Mummy Returns and Enemy at the Gates, About a Boy and Constantine. In 2006 Weisz won Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her role in The Constant Gardener.
