The purpose of the application is to enable the analyst/researcher to determine if the distribution of a particular population of values, e.g. transaction amounts, comply with that which would be expected using Benford?s Law.

The following tests are available, and are described in further detail:

F1 : Test the distribution of the first digit
F2 : Test the distribution of the first two digits
F3 : Test the distribution of the first three digits
L1 : Test the distribution of the last digit
L2 : Test the distribution of the last two digits
D2 ? Test the distribution of the second digit only
